The world’s most expensive car

With 1500 HP under its hood, Bugatti La Voiture Noire stars a new category - the supersportive one. A single unit of the machine has been produced (a one-off), and sold.

French automaker Bugatti was in this year’s Genebra Car Show, and presented nothing less that the most expensive vehicle of all times - the La Voiture Noire. The car has 1500 HP and is a one-off - already sold, by the way. Its happy owner paid the amount of 11 million Euro, not considering costs with importation and taxes.

The supersportive was inspired by the Type 57 SC Atlantic, produced by the same brand back in 1936 - a classic conceived by Ettore Bugatti’s son, Jean Bugatti, and with only two units registered worldwide.

There are still no images showing the interior of the new model, nor the name of its owner. Its mechanic was inherited from Bugatti Divo, though. Its W16 8.0 engine delivers 1500 HP and torque of 163.2 kgfm.
