Myth or real?

An old question, still unanswered… does size really matter? For the vast majority, a large member is indispensable when it comes to feeling pleasure in bed. There are several methods that promise an enlargement of up to 4 cm- among them, pumps, extensors, and even rings. Let’s talk about each of these and find out if and how they work:
1. Penile ring
A best-seller in sex shops, these rings for recreational use promise to delay ejaculation and even increase the size of the penis. The device generates a small pressure which keeps the blood flow, causing some numbness to the area. These are usually used along with inhibitors, which demands a lot of care and attention.
2. Penile extensors
Imagine yourself hanging small weights to your genitals, for that’s the idea here. Approved to use during the day, the apparatus promises to increase the organ’s circumference (as well as its length) in up to 1.7 centimeters when used from 4 to 6 hours a day. Careful, though: the use isn’t recommended while exercising - for obvious reasons!
3. Vacuum pumps
One of the most popular penis enlargement methods, the device stretches the cavernous body through vacuum - you simply insert your penis (preferably with some lubricant) into a pump which sucks the air from the recipient’s interior, drawing the member, and increasing its blood flow. The penis doesn’t need to be hard for the pump to work properly.
4. Silicon injection
The procedure is usually done by non-professionals. The clandestine technique consists in the injection of silicon on the penile circumference - polymethyl methacrylate and other substances used for thickening the area. The method is also used for erectile dysfunction.
5. Exercises
For 15 years there’s a forum famous for offering several exercises for those who want to exercise the private parts - Thunders Place. For them, you don’t need to spend money with penis enlargement devices, all you got to do is manipulate your semi-flacid penis with lubricant gel for several minutes.
6. Surgery
Cut it out! That’s the purpose of the surgery for penis enlargement, by cutting the ligament at the base connecting the organ to the pubic bone. Recovery can be quite quick, actually, with the patient being able to use his privates again in about a week. You need to rest until the stitches are removed, and sex is only recommended after a 6-week-period.
Which technique actually works?
In short: barely NONE! Several scientific analysis were made by Italian and Dutch researchers, who concluded the following:
Penile ring: are efficient to improve erection, but not to increase the size of the penis.
Penile extensors: they somewhat improve the length of the penis, but not its width.
Vacuum pumps: they can be useful for erectile dysfunction, but don’t present improvement after six months.
Silicon injection: may be useful when it comes to width, but the effect disappears after a while.
Exercises: there’s no scientific proof that it works for the purpose.
Surgery: with improvement from 1 to 2 cm in length, this is the only way that actually works. Is it worth the hassle?
In the end, does size really matter? The answer may vary depending on the person, but according to a few studies, 3 to 4 women don’t think that’s really important. Ability is what matters in bed, really.
Stimulating the clitoris and working on your moves is much more relevant than the size of your penis, for real. And since penetration isn’t the only interest of the ladies, let’s work on finding that G spot!
