Ferrari introduced the world's first hybrid PHEV model, named SF90 Stradale, capable of developing up to 1000 horsepower and reaching the 210 miles per hour mark.
Ferrari introduced to the public its new model, the SF90 Stradale. Equipped with a set consisting of a 4.0 V8 twin-turbo engine from Ferrari, which offers 769 hp. To add even more power, there are three e-Drive engines delivering 220hp. The first is a MGUK derived from F1 (Engine Generator Kinetic Unit) located between the engine and the gearbox, while two other engines work on the front axle. So it's not just Ferrari's first PHEV, but also the brand's first two-seater AWD sports car.
The name of the luxury car refers to the anniversary of the Italian team. The "SF" is the abbreviation of "Scuderia Ferrari"; the number 90 honors Scuderia's nine-decade foundation and the word "stradale", translated into English, means "road."
The SF90 has four modes of management of the motors, they are:
Qualify: all motors connected and maximum performance
Performance: All motors connected
Hybrid: Combined engines, but V8 can be disabled
eDrive: electric motors in use
