Ferrari 812 GTS: the strongest in the world
On Tuesday (09), Ferrari introduced its new convertible, the 812 GTS.
It is the fastest and strongest model in the world: 6.5 V12 (aspirated) with power of 880 hp at 8,500 rpm and 73.2 kgfm of torque. Its retractable hard roof only needs 14 seconds to open at a drive speed of up to 45 km / h.
In 50 years, this is the first time Ferrari has produced a V12 front-engine vehicle, or the last was 365 in 1969. This future collectible classic can reach 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds or 0 to 200 km / h. h in just 8.3 seconds, reaching a top mark of 340 km / h.
Within those years, Ferrari has created only collector editions such as 550 Barchetta and F60 America. Production of the 812 Superfast and 812 GTS should meet the demand for a front V12. A Spider version equipped with the front V12 engine, receives a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission.
Its retractable rear reduces cabin turbulence, allowing passengers to hear or the trunk of the engine. A rigid and reinforced body contains a unique air diffuser and other details. Columns A receive air baffles that monitor internal turbulence at high speeds.
The model also has two L-shaped frames on the upper corners of the windshield. They can reduce the chatter and noise of the windows. In this way occupants can talk quietly even at high speed.
