All about Oktoberfest Blumenau

Second largest popular party in the world, Oktoberfest Blumenau is just behind the Munich event in Germany.
Created in 1984 to restore the city's economy after a flood, the event became a huge success. Happening from October 9th to 27th, there are two weeks of a lot of typical food, the traditional draft beer and a lot of partying! This is the last week for you to participate, so we have separated some tips and curiosities about the most lively event in Brazil:
Following the same style of Munich's Oktoberfest, in Blumenau it takes place in the German Village. With several bands playing in the three pavilions, the outdoor space is also full of attractions - shops, stalls, amusement park and several restaurants offering the most typical German cuisine.
The pavilions open from 6 pm Monday to Friday, 11 am on Saturdays and Sundays. The Biergarten and food court with live band, open daily at 11 am. You can't miss the famous Hackepeter (raw beef), Eisbein (pork knee), Goulasch (beef stew), German sausage, stuffed potato and more. There are also several vegan and vegetarian options, as well as gluten-free beers.
The official brewery of the party is Eisenbahn, traditional from Blumenau. In addition to the craft Bierland, Blumenau, Das Bier, Hemmer and Wunder. The subway beer contest takes place every day at 9:45 pm, between men and women. Entries are made on the Sector 2 stage (it is customary to use non-alcoholic beer for everyone to participate).
But how much does Oktoberfest from Blumenau cost? It all depends on lodging, party days, food and beer, of course! Tickets range from 12 to 40 reais - if you are in typical German costume admission is free or half price:
