The Car of the Future Changes Color

By adapting flexible AMOLED technology, Jaguar Land Rover is conducting research to create the color-changing car.
Surely you already know the folding phones with flexible screens in AMOLED, this same technology will be used to cover the body of cars. Thus, changing color with a completely different look within seconds.
Tests based on Lightweight Electronics in Simplified Architecture (LESA) technology are already underway. The car will feature touch-sensitive interior without the aid of buttons. Even the bodies will be covered with a completely color-changing AMOLED surface.

You will need to use software to transform a 3D part into a two-dimensional structure. The components will be mapped to the surface, which will be folded into the original object. LESA-based electronics are lighter, allowing systems to be added to cars, further enhancing functionality.
A Jaguar Land Rover prototype has already been created, with a 60% lighter LESA control panel, 3.5mm thick, the conventional part 5cm. The forecast of cars at the automaker has not yet been released.
