Yamaha Niken: the three-wheel motorcycle

Since 2018 the model is already being sold in Europe, next year Niken might come to the Brazilian market. 

Presented at the last  Motor Cycle Show, Yamaha's revolutionary three-wheeled bike will cost around $ 75,000. According to the manufacturer, the model is one of the most radical concepts in the world, representing the beginning of an era in machine control. ”.



ts system is a hit on the Tricity 155 and 300cc scooters recently launched in Europe. Niken has two front wheels with Leaning-Wheel technology, which turns around corners like a traditional motorcycle.


It has a three-cylinder, 900cc engine from MT-09, producing 115hp - in addition to an exhaust system approved for the Brazilian market.


As it balances practically on its own, the model can appeal to motorcyclists who are afraid to ride only on two wheels (just like the other tricycles of the brand).
