Bentley unveils the new Mulliner Balacar

The 1.94 million dollar luxuRy convertible has limited production of just 12 units - all of which have already been sold.
We had already talked about the New Bentley Balacar here on the Blog, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Inspired by the name and a Mexican lake (known for its natural beauty), the English brand revealed everything about the novelty.
The two-seater convertible is inspired by the old Italian models, handmade by the automaker with different customizations, finishes and colors. The 1559 company Mulliner is responsible for the development that is now part of the Bentley project division.Its engine will be a 12-cylinder 6.0 turbo (developed by the Volkswagen Group, which Bentley is part of), offering 650 horsepower and 91.8 kgfm of torque. The double clutch will have an eight-speed transmission, doing 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 322 km / h.
It will also feature a panel made from 5,000-year-old wood, extracted from naturally fallen trees, preserved in the rivers of the English region of East Anglia. The wood receives a special drying so that it does not lose its original appearance.In addition, the ink is made from the gray of the rice husk, which has a substance that highlights the shine. Carbon fiber, bronze and titanium for the internal finish in natural wool. Each Bentley Mulliner Bacalar will have a price of around 1.7 million euros.
