New Ford Bronco Sport

The launch of the new Ford SUV is scheduled for June and should land in Brazil next year.

With the presentation postponed due to the new Coronavirus, several details of the novelty ended up leaking in recent months. The famous Ford utility will return on two fronts: the original large model with chassis and body with off-road capability, and the Bronco Sport, with details that brings back the look of the 60s and 90s.

According to some disclosures, the engines will consist of two propellers of the EcoBoost family: 1.5 3 cylinders of 180 hp and 20.0 of 4 cylinders and 250 hp, both turbo associated with the automatic gearbox with 8 gears.

The platform will be the C2 that debuted in the new European Focus, but with some adjustments to the off-road capability. Bronco Sport will have versions named after the North American forest parks: Outer Banks, Big Bend, Badlands, in addition to the limited edition First Edition.

The brand expects to launch it this year in Latin America. Brazil will certainly not be left out of the plans, as the Bronco Sport will represent Ford among the SUVs and against the Toyota RAV4.
