The new Tesla Roadster is extremely fast, reaching 100 km / h in just 1.1 seconds.
With great promise in performance on four wheels, the novelty will feature gas engines from SpaceX - with acceleration unmatched in the automotive world. The optional item can make the next generation Roadster reach its speed in just 1.1 seconds.
After taking off with the Dragon Crew taking astronauts to the ISS (International Space Station), now Elon Musk wants to fly on the roads too. In 2018 during the presentation, the SpaceX CEO revealed that the Roadster 2021 would go from 0 to 96km / h in 1 second - with a range of 1,000 km.
According to leaked notes, the Roadster 2021 will win a pair of compressed-air rockets, developed by SpaceX, guaranteeing an impressive 1.1 seconds, less time than F1 boluses.
The system will consist of an electric air pump powered by the car's main battery, taking off with a pressure of 10,000 PS1 for a COPV (Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel). This COPV will power a set of 10 cold gas propellers, similar to a rocket that uses pressurized gas for thrust.
According to Musk, in addition to acceleration, the ability to make turns will also benefit from this technology. As always, Tesla tends to surprise in all its launches, and this time it will be no different while retaining the title of the fastest car in the world.
