ID.3: the new 100% electric Volkswagen

Volkswagen's first all-electric car has a launch date.
Marking the beginning of a new era, after Golf and the classic Beetle, ID.3 will be fundamental in the history of the German brand. The first member of the family had its launch postponed in six months, due to some flaws and Covid-19 - now the wait is finally over and the novelty is ready to reach the European market.
Volkswagen's first 100% electric model, the ID.3 has a maximum range of 420 km transmitted from the engine to the rear axle through a gearbox. The 58 kWh battery allows 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC charging in just 30 minutes, about 290 km of autonomy with a 100 kW charge power.In total, there will be six versions available for sale: Life - Style, Business - Family, Tech - Max. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO conducted some tests on the competitor's new model in a video released by VW itself. The company offers an eight-year warranty, or 160,000 kilometers on the ID.3 battery. The values vary according to the configuration, starting at 31 thousand euros (same range as the Nissan Leaf and Renault Zoe). Unfortunately, there is still no forecast for sale in the Brazilian market.
