New BMW 128ti: a sports car with 265 hp

Sensation of the moment in sports cars, the BMW 128ti promises to outmaneuver the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Launched on the European market, the four-door hatch arrives to beat the competition. Now without the name "M" (all-wheel drive), it has a B58 2.0 engine from the M135 and 265 horsepower. According to data, the novelty goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds, and at 250 km / h the electronics stop the acceleration.

Coming to the market in November, the BMW 128ti closes the performance gap between the 190 hp of the more powerful 120i version and the 310 hp of the M135i xDrive with four-wheel drive. With an engine in compliance with the Euro 6d emission standard, its average consumption is in the range of 16 km / l.

The power is reached between 4,750 rpm and 6,500 rpm, with a torque of 40.6 kgfm between 1.7500 and 4,500 rpm. At the ends of the bumper and side skirts in red, the super sports car receives 18-rim diamond wheels with red brake calipers.

Michelin Pilot 4 tires can be purchased free of charge, but on rim 19 the expense is part. It also includes a 10 mm lower M suspension, 5% to 10% harder springs and stiffened stops.
In addition, it also comes with a Torsen slip differential, M135 brakes and stabilizer bars. The multilink suspension received an adjustment that makes it more responsive during cornering.

Weighing 80 kg less than the M135, the novelty is equipped with two 90 mm sport exhaust pipes. It also receives M sports steering wheel with paddle shifts, custom seats, 8-speed automatic transmission and digital cluster. In Germany, the BMW 128ti costs € 41,575.
