Five cars that will be launched in 2021

With emphasis on SUV models, the year 2021 will have major launches in the Brazilian automotive market.

This year promises to be very exciting, in addition to the possibility of receiving the vaccine against coronavirus, several launches of cars are promised for 2021. Among the most awaited SUVs are the unprecedented Volkswagen Taos, Toyota Corolla Cross and restyling of Jeep Compass. We will also have new generations of well-known sedans, sports, electrified and hatches.

Toyota Corolla Cross

With an estimated value between  $26,400  and  $ 35,900, the Toyota Corolla Cross is considered one of the main launches of the year. The unprecedented SUV comes in the first quarter with 4,460 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width, 1,620 mm in height and 2,640 mm in wheelbase. In addition to 2.0 flex of 177 hp and 1.8 hybrid flex of 122 hp.


Volkswagen Taos

Produced in Argentina, Volkswagen's new SUV arrives to dispute the leadership. The unprecedented model will be launched in the second quarter of 2021, with prices between  $ 26,000 and $ 32,000. It receives 1.4 TSI flex engine of 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque, 10-inch VW Play multimedia center, ambient lighting, digital instrument panel, two-zone digital air conditioning and the brand new steering wheel. 

Jeep Compass 2022

With the mechanics completely renewed, the Jeep Compass will receive some restyling. Its interior will feature a new steering wheel, a 12-inch “floating” multimedia center and digital instrument panel. It also receives a 1.3 Firefly turbo flex engine, with an estimated power of 170 hp, and a CVT-type automatic transmission. The external modifications of the vehicle are due to the new bumper, Full LED headlights and changes in the front. Prices are in the range of  $ 25,500 and  $ 42,500.


New BMW M3

Arriving in the second quarter, the new generation of the BMW M3 will not leave for less than $ 113,000. Receives 3.0 six-cylinder engine in line, with two power levels: 480 hp and 510 hp. In the competition version the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is done in 3.9 seconds, it also offers an optional M Driver’s Package, for a maximum speed of 290 km / h. 

Ford Mustang Mach 1

In a special edition of the muscle car, the Ford Mustang Mach 1 receives a 5.0 V8 engine from the Mach 1 that produces 480 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 58 kgfm of torque at 4,600 rpm. It also brings stabilizer bars, front springs, new calibration of the MagneRide suspension and steering, more rigid rear subframe bushings and front springs. The novelty arrives in the last quarter of 2021, with an estimated value of  $ 75,500.
