Office Pod: the Nissan office van
Tired of doing home office? Nissan presents a four-wheeled office van concept.
Due to the pandemic, the number of motorhome rentals has grown considerably in the last year. In addition to escaping agglomerations, the trailers bring greater freedom by avoiding hotels in high season - and also for those who want to work from anywhere.
With that in mind, Nissan introduced the concept of the NV350 Caravan Office Pod van in online format at Tokyo Salon 2021:
The vehicle that transforms its interior into an office is based on the NV350 Caravan concept from 10 years ago. The novelty features a modular structure at the rear, accommodating all the items you need to work from home - or anywhere.
The concept that combines an office with a home engine offers energy, electric curtains, built-in electric coffee maker and Wi-Fi on a transparent polycarbonate floor that further connects the driver outdoors. It has space for a luxurious Herman Miller chair, computer table, keyboard and mouse. It also has shelves with vinyl finish.
The van allows you to slide the modular structure out of the rear, allowing you to work outdoors when you want. It also has a rest area on the roof of the car with a parasol and a comfortable lounge chair.
The Office Pod version of the Nissan NV350 Caravan is a concept project, the model should not be released to the general public.
