Aston Martin unveils F1 safety car
After 61 years away from Formula 1, Aston Martin is the youngest responsible for the safety car of the 2021 season.

Aston Martin Vantage
The F1 sponsor car received some modifications, guaranteeing the expertise of the Vantage GT4. First on the 4.0 biturbo V8 engine, which went from 510 hp to 535 hp of power, a light transmission when changing gears and the 68.9 kgfm of torque remained the same.
The novelty also has an aerodynamic kit. At the front the new appendix generates 55.6 kg of downforce at 200 km / h. The shock absorbers, steering and suspension were also modified, as well as the structural rigidity was increased. The carbon-ceramic brakes are the same as the conventional model, but with an additional duct for cooling.
Inside, the seats were replaced by racing seats and six-point safety belts. It includes a panel with live television, customizable information such as time, positioning of the tracks and information about race cars.
Aston Martin DBX

Presented at the end of 2019, the SUV continues with 550 hp and V8 4.0 turbo accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 290 km / h. Equipped with defibrillator, suitcase with medical items, burn kit and fire extinguishers.

The rear seats are individual and sporty with the center seat removed, the capacity is only four people: Dr. Ian Roberts, Formula 1 Medical Response Coordinator, South African driver Alan van der Merwe, a local doctor in the GP where the race takes place. One of the seats will be vacant, for the need to transport pilots in case of emergencies and accidents.
