Launch of the Audi A6 E-Tron

Presented at the Shanghai Motor Show in China, the new Audi launch draws attention for its futuristic design.
With an ultra-fast charge, the Audi A6 E-Tron represents a new phase of the brand. The novelty should arrive between 2022 and 2023, as the company's first all-electric product on the new platform for premium electric cars of the VW group, the PPE (Premium Platform Electric). It was developed with Porsche and will initially be used only to produce sedans.
The novelty is 4.96 meters long, 1.96 m wide and 1.44 m high, similar to the current A6 and A7. The huge front with black belt maintains the look of the other E-Tron models, with hidden sensors and devices.
The Audi A6 E-Tron uses a painting technique called Hiosilver, which helps in consumption and energy efficiency, reflecting a portion of the thermal radiation on the car - retaining less heat inside the cabin and helping to improve the consumption estimate.
As for the engines, there will be two electric ones, one on each axis, allowing 450 hp and torque of 81.5 mkgf, with a Quattro all-wheel drive system. The E-Tron will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 7 seconds and 4 seconds in the most powerful version.
The estimated autonomy (based on the European WLTP standard) will be 700 km, reaching from 5% to 80% of 100 kWh battery in 25 minutes due to ultra-fast charging. With only 10 minutes of charge, it will be possible to reach 300 km of autonomy.

Matrix LED headlights appear at the front as microdots, which work to avoid overshadowing the cars ahead. It also uses OLEDs that project on the asphalt as warning signs, increasing the ability to see if the car will turn left or right.
