DroneGun Tactical: the anti drone weapon
Learn all about DroneGun Tactical, the giant weapon that fires a signal for drones to move away.
The giant weapon that looks like something out of a fiction film is real and has a purpose: to paralyze and force the landing of suspicious or unknown drones. The DroneGun Tactical was approved by Anatel last Thursday (22) and can now be purchased in the country.
The portable device is very simple to use, just point at the drone and pull the trigger. In this way it will be possible to track the driver, pause the signals and video transmission. It also counts as a GPS blocker, to prevent the invading drone from returning to its original destination, forcing it to land at an approximate place.

DroneShield, the Australian company that created the device, guarantees coverage of up to 1km and compatibility with a multitude of drone models. Its manageability is so powerful that it can control the payload of these devices, even if they are carrying drugs or explosives.
In Brazil, the request for approval by Anatel was made through Pirâmide Tecnologias. The company already sells other security equipment on the site and has among its clients the Federal Police of RJ. There is still no data on the approval of other drone blockers of the brand in the country.
