Harley-Davidson Launches Electric Bike
Inspired by an exclusive model from the 60s, the new electric bike from Harley-Davidson was auctioned for R$74,000.
Harley-Davidson has announced the new 1-OFF series of bicycles developed by helicopter builders Warren Heir Jr and Kendal Lutchman. The debut version is the MOSH / CHOPPER, inspired by a model from the 1960s. With limited production to just one unit, the electric bike uses the same structure as other models of the brand..
MOSH / CHOPPER has 27.5-inch wheels, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated front and rear lighting, and internally stored cables. In addition, the electric bike has a 250W Brose S Mag engine, and can reach a maximum speed of 32 km/h.
It also has a removable battery and a range of up to 185 km on just one charge. Like the other electric bikes in the 1-OFF series, the MOSH / CHOPPER was sold at an online auction. The buyer won for 14 thousand dollars, the equivalent of R$ 74 thousand.
