Pixel Fold: Google's folding cell phone
New generation of smartphones is displayed with a design inspired by Pixel 6 Pro.
With the arrival of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google should soon introduce the new generation of folding screen phones. As the company has already registered a series of patents where we can see the design of the new product, LetsGo Digital in partnership with designer Waqar Khan created a concept inspired by Pixel Fold.
The format of the device will be very similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3: As it is Google's first generation of folding phones, the Pixel Fold should come out of the box with a display that has thick edges, but its front camera will be located inside a hole. The back is inspired by the Pixel 6, with the presence of a horizontal camera module that projects out of the cell phone body, periscopic and LED flash. The external display also has a hole for the front camera in the upper left corner.
In addition, it may have a 7.6-inch OLED screen when opened and support for content with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The processing is expected to be similar to the Samsung Exynos 9855, as well as its performance being developed in conjunction with the South Korean brand. There is no launching forecast yet, but the price of the device should come out at € 1,800 (R$ 11,306).
