Cars: expected releases for 2022

Discover the main car launches that arrive in the Brazilian market in 2022.
Still with limited production capacity due to the pandemic, the automotive industry is adapting and continues to present new products. In addition to the SUVs and pickup trucks categories, hatchbacks and sedans are also highlighted.
We list some of the news that automakers have prepared to launch in 2022:
Ford Maverick

Confirmed for the Brazilian market, Ford Maverick will arrive in the Wildtrack version, exclusive to the country and with more equipped configurations: 253 hp 2.0 turbo engine, gears and all-wheel drive, in addition to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Honda HR-V

Already presented on the international market, the new generation Honda HR-V was even more refined. Now with electric cruise control, the 1.5 turbo engine should be kept together with the CVT gearbox. It is not yet known how much the cheaper version, or whether the brand will bet on the more expensive segment.
Toyota Yaris

This time the Toyota Yaris redesign comes at the forefront. The look should be the same as it was shown in Asia, but now with more safety systems and driving aids like frontal collision warning.
Volkswagen Polo Track

The new Polo Track will be Volkswagen's entry car for the Brazilian market. It will be equipped with a 1.0 three-cylinder engine, already used by both the most basic version of the current Polo and the Gol.
Fiat SUV Coupe

With a look inspired by the Fastback concept, Fiat's new SUV has a more accentuated roof trim. Still no set date to arrive, the engine should include the new 1.0 and 1.3, both turbocharged already seen in models like Toro and Pulse.
BMW i4

One of the main releases of the German automaker this year, the i4 should arrive in Brazil in two versions. The first (eDrive 40) with 340 hp of power, and 430 Nm of torque and rear-wheel drive and a reach of 590 km. The M50 sports version has 544 hp and 795 Nm, always with all-wheel drive. The i4 M50 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and reaches 225 km/h. The range is 510 km.
