Meet the new BMW iX electric SUV

Presented by the automaker as the first smart car in Brazil, the BMW iX is equipped with a power system to recover the battery based on GPS information. It also has a personal assistant, 12.3-inch and 14.3-inch touch screens that display technical information and multimedia control.

It also has a virtual key that unlocks the doors from 1.5 meters away, an augmented reality tool to help the driver park, an app to monitor battery charging and 5G. 

Sold with two battery options: 76.6 kWh capacity in the xDrive40 version and 111.5 kWh in the xDrive50 Sport version. The top version of the electric vehicle is classified as the longest range for sale in the country, reaching up to 630 km.

The novelty is equipped with two engines, one on each axle with xDrive all-wheel drive as standard. The xDrive40 version delivers 326 hp and 64.2 kgm of torque, while the xDrive50 Sport version has 523 hp and 78 kgfm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.1 seconds and 4.6 seconds, while top speed is limited to 200 km/h in both for battery preservation.
