All about the new 2024 BMW M3 CS

Now in the Racing version, the new BMW sedan gains more power and can exceed 300 km/h.

BMW has just revealed another member of its sports car, the BMW M3 CS 2024. Reaching a new level of performance, the novelty arrives with 70 hp more than the standard M3 and 40 hp more than the M3 Competition. It also brings lighter weight and a 550 hp V8 engine. 

With an 8-speed automatic transmission and XDrive all-wheel drive, the super sports car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. It only takes 11.1 seconds to reach 200 km/h, and in just 2.6 seconds it resumes from 80 to 120 km/h, reaching a top speed of 302 km/h.

In all, 543 hp of power and 66.2 kgfm of torque will be delivered by the same six-cylinder in-line 3.0-liter biturbo engine. One of the main changes to reach this level of power was the increase in the maximum pressure of the two tubes, which went from 1.7 bar to 2.1 bar. 

The weight of the new 2024 BMW M3 CS has also been reduced. Now with plastic reinforced with carbon fiber, a total of 34 kg were saved, applying the material to the hood, mirror covers, front splitter, air intake, trunk lid spoiler and rear diffuser - giving a different touch to the look . In total, the weight is around 1,775 kg.

Wheels measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear with the option to order matte black or gold. Performance is standard, but if the buyer so desires, track-ready Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires can be fitted as a no-cost option, which measure 275/35 at the front and 285/30 at the rear.

Inside, the M Carbon bucket seats are fully electric and can be heated (the illuminated CS emblems on the backrests also draw attention). The lining is produced in Merino leather, with tricolor stitching and drawings in black and red. 

The multimedia center features a new 12.3-inch curved display, horizontally matching the instrument panel screen. The production of the supercar will be limited and there is still no information about the number of copies.
