New BMW S 1000 RR is already in Brazil
The new BMW motorcycle is now available at Brazilian dealerships. Find out all about the S 1000 RR.
Available at dealerships across the country, the new BMW S 1000 RR received a more powerful engine, chassis improvements and a “winged” look like the GP bikes. The aerodynamic changes are visible, highlighting the winglets present on the side of the fairing. In addition, it also has 3 hp more than the previous year's model.
Find out more details of the BMW S 1000 RR below:
Available in Premium, Premium M and Premium M Carbon versions, the BMW S 1000 RR arrived with various equipment from the series, such as the M chassis, a component that allows the possibility of adjustments to the rear shock absorber and scale. There are 3 colors available: black, red and motorsport.
As for the engine, the super sport now reaches 210 hp at 13,750 rpm, 3 hp more than the previous model, in addition to the 11.5 kgfm of maximum torque at 11,000 rpm. And to take advantage of the power even more, BMW now has a new electronic feature called slide control. It allows the pilot to skid and do a kind of "drift" on corner exits.
For an even more radical experience, the unprecedented brake slide control system lets you skid into the curve when you apply the rear brake. The two piloting assistants use an unprecedented inclination sensor, installed on the steering wheel of the German sports bike.
The novelty still has four configurable piloting modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race. There is also Pro Mode, an option that offers additional driving settings, for those who accelerate the super sport on the tracks. The instrument panel has a 6.5-inch TFT screen for better viewing even in low light.
The suggested price of the S1000RR M Carbon, sold only in BMW Motorsport's tricolor outfit, is R$169,900. The Package M version, available only in the same tricolor option (white, blue and red), costs R$149,900. The Premium version will be sold in black and red at a competitive price of R$125,900.
