5 practices to relieve stress

What are the symptoms of stress and anxiety?
It's always good to remember that anxiety and stress is something natural for humans, the problem is when it reaches an advanced level turning into a crisis. Charges of adrenaline and noradrenaline are abruptly released causing some physical manifestations. Some of them are: shortness of breath, negative thoughts, tremors, chest tightness, accelerated heartbeat, insomnia and irritability.

1 - Focus
In some situations stress and anxiety can get out of our control. In these cases, the ideal is to focus on what we can improve. Don't cover yourself and don't blame yourself, stay focused on the things within your reach.
2 - Self-care
Think about your well-being and practice some kindness to yourself. Practice physical activities that give you satisfaction, meditate, have a good night's sleep, find friends and family to talk to, eat something you like a lot, listen to a sound.
3 - Breathing
When anxiety hits, focus on your breathing. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose until your belly is full of air and exhale through your mouth. Remember to breathe from your abdomen or diaphragm, not your chest. Continue with the technique until the symptoms subside.
4 - Stop over-thinking
Thinking about new challenges, remembering problems that have passed only worsen our mental health. Avoid thinking about the uncertain! Let the situation happen, trust your potential and focus on what's good for you. Try to look at things differently and more positively.
5 - Routine
Organizing the routine helps keep the mind busy. Divide your day into periods: breakfast, work, cleaning, domestic activities and be sure to set aside time for leisure.
