Special Edition BMW R18 '100 years
In celebration of its centenary, BMW is launching the R18 '100, a special and exclusive edition limited to just 30 units in Brazil.
This unique edition of the R18 '100 was produced in a limited global run of 1923 motorcycles, a tribute to BMW Motorrad's founding year. Inspired by the iconic R from the 1930s, this updated version features distinctive features such as chrome surfaces, an elegant classic paint job and historic emblems of the German brand.
The BMW R 18 '100 years boasts an elegant black paintwork with chrome details on the sides, creating an attractive and timeless contrast. Two white stripes add a touch of sophistication to the design. It also stands out for its "100 years" emblem and the red leather seat with diamond-shaped stitching, which adds a touch of luxury to the look.

One of the most impressive aspects of this motorcycle is its boxer engine, nicknamed "Big Boxer", with an incredible capacity of 1,802 cm³. This is the largest engine ever produced by BMW, generating an impressive power of 91 hp and a maximum torque of 16.1 kgfm.
The final transmission is made with a cardan shaft, which has exposed operation, while the mechanical gearbox has 6 gears. Dispensing with electronic adjustments, the front suspensions have a telescopic fork and central support. As on the R 5, the telescopic fork tubes are enclosed in fork sleeves. Travel is 120mm at the front and 90mm at the rear.
The motorcycle is also equipped with an analog instrument panel, complemented by a small digital screen for information from the on-board computer. In addition, it features full LED lighting, stability and traction control, remote start, on-site key and hill start assistant, as well as cruise control.
As we mentioned previously, this limited edition will be available in Brazil in just 30 units. The price of the BMW R18 '100 years' is R$190,000.
