Porsche exceeded all expectations with the launch of the Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, a true automotive jewel that defies even FIA rules.

With just 77 units produced worth US$1 million, Porsche developed the GT3 R Rennsport version exclusively for collectors. Guaranteeing 620 horsepower, the model pays homage to the Rennsport Reunion, an event that brings together racing Porsche owners. The model is not legal for the streets or even for GT3 competitions..

Under the hood, the heart of this breathtaking vehicle is a 4.2-liter six-cylinder engine that can reach an impressive 9,400 RPM, delivering 620 horsepower. For those looking for a little more moderate performance, a 585 horsepower version is also available. Another notable feature is the absence of a silencer, although this can be added as an option. 

Porsche significantly improved the engine, increasing cylinder compression and developing exclusive pistons and camshaft for this version. The brand recommends the use of E25 fuels, such as bioethanol and synthetic fuels (e-Fuel), for better performance and environmental sustainability.

The six-speed sequential transmission, with ratios based on the GT3 R that raced at Daytona, guarantees an exciting driving experience. The suspension is adjustable to the rider's preferences and can be purchased at Porsche dealerships worldwide. The competition braking system received pads with titanium backing plates, providing precise and reliable braking.

Due to some changes in materials (such as the fuel tank, 1 kg lighter than the GT3 R), the GT3 R Rennsport is also lighter, reaching a curb weight of 1,240 kg. The exclusive 18'' BBS wheels have thicker sidewalls to counterbalance the effects of the car's heavy aerodynamics. 

The design of the GT3 R Rennsport is a true masterpiece, inspired by the iconic Porsche 935 from the 70s. Features include rear-view mirrors replaced by cameras and an imposing spoiler that draws attention due to its size. 

Inside, the roll cage restricts space to a single seat, highlighting the purely sporting nature of this vehicle. The interior lighting is fully customizable, as are the headlights.
