9 best Brazilian restaurants
Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants released a preview of the 2023 ranking. Among them, 9 Brazilian restaurants are among the best in Latin America.
Released on Thursday (16/11), Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants presented the list of restaurants ranked from 51st to 100th position. The awards ceremony will take place on November 28th with a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro. Among the 20 countries in Latin America, Brazil stands out with nine restaurants. Find out what they are below::
56- Charco, em São Paulo 57
Located at Rua Peixoto Gomide, 1,492, Jardim Paulista, São Paulo, Charco has capacity for 40 people in an intimate environment, low lighting and peeling walls. Led by chef Tuca Mezzomo, the menu uses fire in its most diverse ways. Highlights include rice with morcilla, garlic and demi glace and grilled squid.

Below is the complete list from 51st to 100th place in Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants;This year, the list includes 27 restaurants, Barranquilla (Colombia), Córdoba (Argentina) and Mérida (Mexico) appear for the first time. São Paulo and Santiago lead with 6 each, while Bogotá and Buenos Aires have 4 restaurants. Among the establishments they also appear, with the debut of Lunario in Ensenada, in position 54.
This will be the first time that one of the biggest gastronomy awards in the world takes place in Brazil.
