Ducati and Bentley launch motorcycle
With just 550 units produced, Ducati and Bentley came together and created an exclusive motorcycle.
Presented during the Art Basel contemporary art fair in Miami Beach, iconic brands Ducati and Bentley have developed an exclusive motorcycle. The novelty will have a limited series of 500 copies that will be reserved for Bentley customers.
Paying homage to Bentley's ultra-exclusive Batur, of which there are just 18 cars, Ducati has integrated elements in collaboration with the English brand's designers, creating an entirely new style for the Diavel V4.
Maintaining the Scarab Green color that comes from the Bentley Mulliner palette throughout the motorcycle's fairing, its horizontal lines on the side also refer to Batur. As with many other parts, the wheels painted in Sark Titanium Satin resemble car shapes.
The side air intakes, front fender, fairing and fuel tank all maintain the two-tone front grille that are also elements of the coupe.
The fenders, headlight fairing, engine cover and side panels are all made from carbon fiber. The inspiration for the black Alcantara driver's seat comes directly from the car's interior.
Detail for the Bentley logo embroidered on the back cushion, making a luxurious reference to the brand. The instrument panel and rear LED lights display different lighting when the key is turned on.
The Batur is the most powerful car ever produced by Bentley with a 740 hp twin-turbo W12 engine. The Ducati Diavel has a 1,158 cm 3 V4 engine that produces 170 hp of maximum power.
The Ducati Diavel for Bentley will be delivered with a motorcycle cover, certificate of authenticity and a personalized wooden box.
The first 500 bikes will be priced at US$70,000 (R$345,100) each in the USA. Afterwards, a special edition called “Diavel for Bentley Mulliner” will be available exclusively to Bentley Mulliner customers, who will be able to customize the motorcycles with different colors and finishes, within the brand's color palette.
