Best-selling hybrid cars in 2024
The hybrid and electric vehicle market in Brazil experienced extraordinary growth in just one year, tripling its sales and reaching impressive numbers.

In the first month of 2024, 12,026 hybrid and electric cars were sold, highlighting a growing demand for more sustainable alternatives. Even with the return of mandatory import charges, sales were not negatively impacted. This number represents an increase three times greater compared to the same period of the previous year, when 4,503 models were registered.
According to the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE), these records mark the second best result since 2012, behind only the previous year, 2023, when 16,279 electrified vehicles were sold.
