1st conviction for piracy in Brazil
A historic milestone was established with the first prison sentence for piracy of audiovisual content in Brazil.

The defendant, whose identity was not revealed, received a sentence of five years, four months and 17 days in prison for distributing and selling audiovisual materials, infringing copyright. This case occurred in the 5th Criminal Court of Campinas, São Paulo, and is recognized as a historic event as it marks the first criminal conviction in Brazil related to content piracy.
This conviction is an integral part of Operation 404, which began in 2019 and is now in its sixth phase, with the aim of uncovering criminal organizations involved in the commercialization of pirated content.
The Operation is an initiative coordinated by the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security, in collaboration with the Civil Police, and has the support of agents from the United Kingdom, Peru, the United States and Argentina.
Digital piracy not only harms the entertainment industry in its production, dissemination and distribution aspects, but also generates additional costs with legal proceedings, including for models who may be uncomfortable with their images being published on pirated websites.
Furthermore, it negatively impacts the quality and diversity of available content, reducing resources that could be allocated to improvements.
Considering the quality of our work and the well-being of our fans and subscribers, we decided to take effective measures against piracy. We want our content, including photos and videos produced with professionalism and responsibility, to be made available fairly, maintaining the quality and attention it deserves.
At Bella Club, we developed an anti-theft content system to identify subscribers who share our photos and videos on pirated websites without authorization. To date, we have identified several websites and users involved in this illegal activity and have taken the necessary legal steps to hold them criminally responsible.
If you notice that any of our videos are being shown on websites that may pose risks to users or that are in violation of our quality policies and work standards, please contact us. Just copy the links and send them to our contact on the website.
We are committed to protecting our content and ensuring a safe, high-quality experience for all of our subscribers.
