Brazil's Olympic Schedule

With a mix of tradition and innovation, the French promise a unique opening ceremony, marking the beginning of 16 days of intense and exciting competitionsle.

The opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is scheduled for Friday, July 26, at 2:30 p.m. (Brasília time). Unlike previous editions, the ceremony will not take place in a stadium, but rather in a procession along the Seine River, with boats traveling 6 kilometers through the French capital. Spectators will be able to watch for free from the upper pier and on large screens spread throughout the city.

Expectations for Brazil

The Brazilian delegation is coming in strong, with athletes competing in more than thirty different sports. There are good prospects for medals in several of them, as highlighted by the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB).

In the first few days, Brazil will be in action on several fronts. On July 25, for example, we will have archery, women's handball and women's soccer competitions. Highlight for Ana Luiza Caetano, who will open Brazil's participation in the archery qualifiers at 4:30 a.m. (Brasília time).
