The World's Best Hotels 2024
The World's 50 Best Hotels has revealed its list of the world's best hotels, and Asia once again came out on top.

Hotels' elite gathered in London's iconic Guildhall to celebrate the world's 50 best hotels. The World's 50 Best is a leading organisation in the hospitality industry, championing trends and highlighting the very best in restaurants, bars and hotels worldwide. “For the past 20 years, we have encouraged discerning foodies and travellers to explore new destinations and experiences, and uncovered emerging talent in gastronomy and cocktails,” the organisation states.
How is the list compiled?
The World's 50 Best Hotels Academy, made up of over 600 independent experts, all selected for their industry expertise. The Academy's Chairs organise voting panels in a number of regions, ensuring a wide range of voices, including hoteliers, travel journalists and sophisticated travellers.
Academy members can vote for any hotel they have stayed at, with no geographical restrictions. Each voter casts seven votes, in order of preference, based on their experiences over the past 18 months, with voting being completely confidential.

The only Brazilian hotel on the list, Rosewood São Paulo, came in 24th place, climbing three positions compared to the previous year, although it did not make it into the top 5.
