Many people believe that only the German and Belgian craft beers are worth it. Therefore, this theory fails when we analyze the ranking of the best brands sold in Brazil and all around the world, recently published by the magazine Prazeres da Mesa, highlighting the national names.
The list, which comprises 100 different types of beer, was created by a jury formed by several specialists, among them the responsible for the website All Beers. On the top of the list comes a Belgium brand alright, but the silver and bronze medals came to Brazil.

1. Duchesse de Bourgogne
Blend with harvests from 8 to 18 months, aged in oak barrels. This beer goes well with pâtés, green soup, chicken and bean broths, cheese and vegetable soups, roquefort and gorgonzola cheese, caviar, cheesecake, lemon and apple pies, crème brûlée, pudding, citrus and red fruits.
