Refreshing beers for summer

Nothing better than cooling down with a delicious cold beer, isn't it? But, not all beer is ideal for the summer. Some options may not be as light and refreshing, due to their characteristics - so you should choose the right type to drink on warmer days. Many of them offer a lower percentage of ABV (alcohol by volume), favoring consumption.

Lager or Pilsen
These are the most common types. Both are easy to drink and find, perfect for warmer days due to the lack of hop taste. They are refreshing and have little variation in flavor.
Pilsen Style: Eisenbahn, Skol, Itaipava, Budweiser, Brahma, Antarctica, Forbidden, Stella Artois, Schin, Bohemia.
Lager style: Skol, Kaiser, Budweiser, Antarctica, Itaipava and Stella Artois.
Blonde Ale
If you're still not used to craft beer, Blonde Ale is a great start. It has a smooth sensation on the palate and has moderate levels of alcohol. Its color ranges from light yellow to golden, smooth malt, fruity style and low bitterness.
Witbier
Also known as Belgian White, Witbier combines very well with the hottest days. It has a slight wheat flavor, freshness and a high level of carbonation. Citrus fruits accompany this style that can be seasoned with coriander seeds, orange peels and other spices.
Ipa
The all-time favourite of the majority, Ipa is known for its bitter taste. Despite this, style is a great bet for the summer. It has modern flavored, fruity versions with less bitterness, showing more freshness. Due to its higher alcohol content, India Pale Ale should be enjoyed in moderation.
Session Ipa
Known as the less alcoholic and lighter version of Ipa, this craft beer was developed especially for the summer. It has a lower alcohol content, without losing aroma and hop characteristics. Produced with American hops and presents notes of mango, grapefruit and lychee with a slightly bitter and dry flavor.
