Beers ideal for winter

It's time to think about beers with more alcohol content to raise our temperature. Among them are American Pale Ale (APA), Indian Pale Ale (IPA), or also dark ones like Porter and Stout - coffee and chocolate aromas respectively. Find out more about each one and choose your favorites:
American Pale Ale (APA)
This style of beer originated in Burton-on (a town near the River Trent in eastern Staffordshire) in England. After the First World War, it reached its current shape with an almond touch. It is divided into 4: British Golden Ale, Belgian Pale Ale, American Pale Ale (APA) (APA) and English Pale Ale (made with English hops). Of Celtic origin, The word "pale" originates from its clear and opaque shade.
Indian Pale Ale (IPA)
Arising from the Pale Ale, the famous IPAs have a more pronounced hop flavor and aroma - in addition to their characteristic bitterness. During a trip from England to the Indies, the English increased the alcohol content by adding more hops. The Indian Pale Ale is divided into 3 styles: American India Pale Ale (with American hops) and Imperial IPA / Double IPA (stronger than the others), English India Pale Ale (with English hops).
Stout
With emphasis on roasted malt, stout beer has aromas of coffee, chocolate and todde. You can also taste the Dry Stout (lighter and drier), Sweet Stout (with lactose), Oatmeal Stout (with oat) versions. Imperial Stout is more intense, ideal for pairing with fondue or chocolate desserts.
Porter
An absolute success in English pubs, the traditional Porter beer emerged in the early 18th century. Its name is a tribute to port workers, who were fond of dark beer. It has delicious aromas that resembles coffee, chocolate, chestnuts and caramel. Also available in a smoked style, known as Smoked Porter. It has moderate alcohol content and high fermentation.
