Get awesome results in 15 minutes
If you still believe that, in order to reach your exercising goals, you need to spend over an hour a day at the gym, please read this text until the end and be surprised by Science’s recent discoveries.
Imagine going to the gym, making only one series of each exercise, jogging for about 4 minutes, and obtaining similar or even better results than the guys who train for over an hour every single day. That would be perfect, wouldn’t it?
Well, New Yorker researcher Ralph Carpinelli recently published a research in which the traditional 30-minute-treadmill plus the 24 weight-lifting series were replaced by only 4 minutes of intense running, plus 6 weight-lifting series.
In his research, Carpinelli has proved that, even taking only a third of the total amount of time spent during regular training sessions, a shorter, more intense exercise routine has increased the athlete’s strength and cardiorespiratory conditioning.
There are many other researches that present similar results to Carpinelli’s, as for example a study published in 2011 by a Chinese group, in which over 400.000 people were followed by a period of 8 years, that concluded that only 15 minutes oh high intensity physical activity would be enough to reduce mortality and increase life expectation.
There are some more revolutionary researches that say only 4 minutes of high intensity exercises presented the same results of a one-hour training session carried out low-moderate intensity.
You have probably noticed by now that the necessary condition for you to obtain the results you’re after in shorter training sessions is INTENSITY. This means that, no matter the exercise you pick for reaching your goal, it must be done with maximum efforts or efforts near your maximum capacity.
In other words, if you weight-lift, for example, each series must be executed until you’re no longer able to keep going. If your running on the treadmill or cycling, there are specific protocols that apply, but the principle is the same: you need to get to your limits by the end of a determined time frame.
We’ll soon be showing you a few training schedules that shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to be concluded, and that will certainly help you reach your training goals.
See you next time!
