One moment you will stop!

Everything in this life has a limit. And you may have heard that expression several times (especially from older people). But we always have to admit that the older the wiser. Because this is a truth of life!
I always like to bring some personal experiences, both from me and my friends, to this column. After all, "life as it is" gives us the best and clearest examples and teachings. In my age group, most women are facing two of the greatest indecisions of the female world: having or not having children, or having a second child. Jeez! Hard decision folks!
And then I start to remember a lot of people who talked to me about it. Some have asked me what it's like to have children, what it's like to have a family, to have daily responsibilities, to have a little person in this world that depends on you for everything. It depends on you even to depend on someone else. People are very curious about this subject. After a while you find these people completely transformed, fulfilled, yet tired and seeking for a better life. But happy to have a family.
Some people hide behind a decision. They hide their real motives. I have a friend who has always convinced us that she didn't want to have children, that she wanted to travel the world, enjoy her boyfriend, and then always husband without worry. And then everyone said that one time that will ceased, that one time you would stop, and question other aspects of your life. Was it something this person wanted, or of the spouse? Or was there a problem that prevented the family from growing? A few years later the family gained a member and continue happy and in love with the new moment.
The conviction that our ideals are always the most appropriate and the lack of humility to stop and pay attention to what others try to teach us can change the whole course of a life. Too bad we only learn this at maturity, when we have done a lot of bullshit and broke our faces a lot. Me, you and all of us. There are times when we know that we are doing something that will not work and yet we continue. Perhaps ashamed to admit that we are wrong, or proud not to give up and fail.
There are people who spend their whole lives without investing in a roof. Travel, live well and comfortably the best moments of leisure, good restaurants and amazing clothes. While others can barely do without wearing the right clothes, their phones are old, their cars outdated. But safe in their homes, with some savings. Is there a balance in all this? I think it depends a lot on emotions. What moves each person? There are those who like to live both ways. But in both cases, you will stop and think.
It is crucialit to stop and reflect on it. The alternatives, the opportunities, the losses, the damages. Everything that is tied to a decision must be reflected upon, and there is nothing better than being able to count on someone at this time. Many times when I had to make a decision something, it was very random people who gave me the best advice, made me think and decide. After all, life is made of trials. It is up to us to make the decision.
