The skin is the largest organ in the human body and looking after it is of utmost importance not only for the ladies. Eating healthily, drinking lots of water, exercising and other healthy habits such as keeping away from smoking help the skin in a way you wouldn´t imagine! You saw what happened  to the face of that truck driver after years of exposing its left side to sunlight, right?

A healthy is compulsory for both men and women. I am not talking about aesthetics here, as some of you might be thinking. I am talking about health! That is why wearing sunscreen is not a habit which should be taken seriously only during the summer. Solar rays (such as UVA and UVB) can burn even when it´s cold. I shouldn´t need to say that, right?! Meaning: your skin suffers all the same no matter the season of the year. Wearing sunscreen on a daily basis is the main skincare, especially for face and hands. If you have oily skin, try the oil free versions of these products.

Shaving is also something to pay attention to when it comes to looking after the skin of your body. Ingrown hair and abrasions may turn into scars in some cases and worsen the health of your face. Keep an eye open for emollient soaps, which should be used before shaving. They soften the hair and help the blade slide more easily, avoiding possible cuts and bruises caused by the blades. Some of the shaving foams now come with anti-aging cream and also work as moisturizers. Try to work with good quality essential items for the shaving process: buy new blades, see if the electric shavers is working properly and spoil your skin with a fancy lotion afterwards.

Bald sexy guys also need special care since the head skin is pretty sensitive. We don´t need to mention sunscreen all over the head in these cases, do we? Wear a hat if the sun is too strong, especially while practicing sports outside.

During the summer most people use moisturizers after showering  to keep the body hydrated. This type of care should be extented to the whole year. In winter, for example, we usually shower with the hottest water we can get. That removes the natural skin oil, leaving it drier than regularly. 

Do  not forget the feet, now! If you wear the same shoes every day, it might be a good idea to leave them to rest for a day or two and pick a different pair to wear meanwhile. If your shoes don´t have enough time to breathe, it is possible that you´ll soon be having some annoying feet trouble such as bad smell or ringworm.
These are basic cares which should be done on a daily basis in order to keep your skin healthy and looking great. Dedicate a little bit of your day to take care of yourself and you´ll soon see the significant aesthetic changes!
