Strong legs
I believe the national preference of women in relation to a male`s body is the toned arms and the six-pack. Some chicks don`t actually pay much attention to a man`s belly, as long as his arms are strong and ready to protect them. Well, at least that is how I see it...
That doesn`t mean the legs would go unnoticed. Strong legs are awesome and women love them – especially when they are combined with a nice bum. What I would like to point out here this time is that you don`t have to spend half your day at the gym in order to get those cute legs of yours fit and ready to impress the ladies. There are some simple exercises which are great and quite easy to do.
Cycling, for example, is magic for tighs! If it is sunny out, you can grab your bike and go for a wander in the neiborhood. Some might enjoy going to work with it instead of catching the bus or trying to get away from the morning traffic. Plus, you`d be helping the environment and that counts a lot, right? Cycling needs a few basic cares, though. So if you aren`t used to it, avoid rough paths or long distances in the beginning. Go little by little, day by day. Wearing a helmet is important, especially if you are cycling in the city, among other vehicles. If you are into cycling at night, please put some lights on your bike and wear a fluorescent jacket. That way you`ll be easily spotted by cars, people and other bikes, avoiding possible accidents.
If you can`t or don`t like the idea of cycling outdoors, it might be nice to go for spinning classes in a gym near you. These classes usually last from 30 minutes to an hour and are accompanied by loud, cool music. Spinning (or indoor cycling as some might call it) is also one of the best exercises if you are willing to lose a few extra pounds.
Using the stairs instead of the elevator might be a good idea, too. As I have mentioned before, start slowly if you have never do it or in case you have not been exercising for a while. Go up a floor or two in the first week and increase the number of floors when you feel you`re ready to do it. Again, if you are more into visiting the gym two or three times every week, there is an equipment called transport which simulates the same action.
If you have never thought on getting a man`s best friend, maybe that is a good time to do so. Having a dog is great not only when you feel like doing nothing at all, but it is also a good excuse for you to leave the couch alone for a while and going for a walk or jog. The more you exercise, the better you are going to feel and the healthier your legs are going to be. Most dogs just love going out for some jogging around the park or at the beach. Remember to take some water for both of you.
Isometric exercises are also advisable if you are after well-toned legs, for the muscles work slowly but surely and you can feel the difference in a couple of weeks. There are two great options here: yoga and pilates. Both are low impact activities and besides toning the muscles of the whole body, they help when it comes to burning the extra fat. Plus – and I probably shouldn`t tell you this – most yoga and pilates studios are filled with pretty chicks in search of a healthier, nicer body and soul.
Jogging or running at the beach is another great option for toning the legs. It is much harder than doing the same in other places, since you`ll need more strength in order to keep the pace.
Just bear in mind that it is not always easy to increase muscle strength, so you might want to consider taking some supplementation, such as whey protein. To make sure you are going the right way, speak to a personal trainer or a professional in the area and remember: strong legs are as appealing to women as well-toned arms!
