Tattoos: its pros and cons
Who has never thought about getting a tattoo? I believe most of all have, some of all have actually inked themselves for live and some didn´t have the courage to have it done. Many don´t just do it because of their jobs of their families and are just waiting a while longer before visiting a professional. Clap your hands to those who acted responsibly. After all, having your skin marked for life includes much more than a nice drawing and a bit of courage – it includes a bunch of serious stuff, such as how clean the place is, where in your body you are going to have it done, if your skin can handle the healing process and the pain, and of course the professional who is going to attend you.
The sterelization of the material and discardable needles are compulsory in a tattoo studio. Good quality ink is also important. As the years go by, it is possible for the drawings to become opaque. So the better the ink, the more it is going to last. You are going to need to have it redone a few years later nonetheless if you want your tattoo to always look pretty. I would say it is important for people who have skin problems to visit a dermathologist before taking any decision. Tattoos might become scars in case healing problems occur, so pay attention to that.
By living in hot countries or visiting the beach it is quite common to see people and their sculptural bodies walking about with their tattoos. They are not always nice tattoos, though, and I believe you would like people to look at yours and enjoy it. So think a lot before you ink. Big or small, some might be out of this moment´s context. Just as there is fashion in everything, tattoos also follow some tendencies. You have to remember that fashion changes and your tattoo is forever. Research, think, talk and think a bit more about the drawing you want to have on your skin so you will not regret about it next year.
There was a time in which tattoos were exclusively dedicated to the ´bad guys´. After lots of misconceptions, inking your body has become pretty common and youngsters use it as a way of identifying themselves with their peers and their way of life.
For those who are willing to have a part of their bodies inked but still have restrictions at work, the thing is to pick a region which can be easily covered with your work clothes, such as the back of the calf. And please take care with the idea of having your beloved´s name forever in your body. Remember relationships might end and your tattoo remains. I would say it is acceptable to have a parent or child´s name tattooed, though.
If you have decided for finally having your body tattooed, take all of these into consideration. Avoid deciding anything in the spur of the moment. Many people keep a drawing they want tattooed for some months before looking at it again and seeing if they are still willing to go ahead – and I must say in many cases the opinions change. Laser removal sessions are extremelly painful and they cannot solve all cases. Plus, you will have to pay from 5 to 10 sessions until you see some kind of result. All I am saying is that a tattoo is forever and it might change things for good or for worse. Watch out!
