Among the great behavioral trends for the next few years, with a direct reflection on the consumption market, is the desire to revisit the past and bring back the best we have ever lived. The reflex is the return of the natural materials, the valorization of all that’s handmade, of the old techniques and, mainly, of the natural raw material.

The consumer’s market bets on products that make us feel comfortable, bring back nice memories, and help us build new ones. Wood, wool, neutral and earthy colors, manual techniques such as knitting, crochet, patchwork, among others. And if you think the trend is only related to the material, you’re wrong. Surfaces also follow the organic vibe, respecting the natural shapes and bringing an exquisite touch to the objects we deal with on a daily basis.

Wood marks a strong presence in the contemporary style. Not only in decor, but also in distinct items such as packaging and covers of mobile phones, glasses and sunglasses, watches, and bags. Some brands offer glasses made of light wood, or bracelets that fit perfectly. The colors and nuances of wooden pieces reflect on the pallets of clothing collections: brown, mustard yellow, berry red, ocher.

Wool comes also very strongly, both when it comes to surface characteristics, creating the feeling of comfort and protection, and related to the weave of the fabric. Knitted pieces of clothing appear especially in light colors, such as white, off white, nude and pastel tones.

Natural fabrics stand out at this time. Some well-known ones, including twill, wool knitwear, and cotton stand out as a trend. Men's trousers continue to appear in earthy tones. Burnt yellow appears to compose a more harmonic cartouche, in which monochromatic looks are most desired.

Bracelets and accessories like purses follow on the same line. Plots made of bamboo, wood and ropes, in addition to leather with a more rustic and soft appearance. The idea is to wear many accessories at once, like wristbands and watch worn together, on the same arm. Darker metals are ideal for this combination.

The trend favors all biotypes, and because of its versatility, it optimizes time and money, after all the pieces are easily combined with each other, with the possibility of several looks with fewer options.
