New Season vs. Promotions

We have reached a very irresistible time for shopping: the showcases full of summer news and sales are coming everywhere. A crazy temptation, which can often actually be a big bore! Options abound, but we need to think carefully before spending this time of year.
The combination of factors that involve the last months of the year are the most conducive to renewing our looks: Thirteenth, Black Friday, Winter Inventory, Progressive Discounts and more. Promotions make us lose our minds, including buying things we don't need and we buy them just for the price, or rather for the discount. But it's time to take a deep breath, keep calm and face the mall with some goals. Let's list some here!
Before you go shopping, take a good look at your wardrobe to list what you really need to buy. Sometimes we buy pieces we like without thinking about what we already have to match. If you have unmatched parts in the closet, it may be a good time to buy them.
- Take the opportunity to buy the company's Christmas gifts, graduation and get-togethers. Remember that discounted items usually cannot be exchanged, so try to be assertive at least in size and color.
- Don't buy wrong numbering even if you really like the piece. Especially if it's smaller. If it gets tight, like pants and shoes, forget it! But if it got a little wide and you know a good seamstress who can handle it, you can risk it.
- Buy basic and timeless parts. Remember that trends are renewing each season, so what's hot today, next year may be forgotten.
- It's a great opportunity to buy more valuable items, even out of the weather. Example: classic blazers and coats, full suits, neutral color shirts like white, blue, black, gray. Sunglasses, watches and perfumes are on this list!
- Purchase versatile pieces such as shirts and denim jackets that can be worn now, over basic t-shirts or with folded sleeves and also on colder days. Lightweight trousers are good options for the holidays and for office use with a belt and matching shoes.
- T-shirts, always t-shirts! Bet it.
