Sportswear in focus

Today we are no longer surprised to see people wearing sportswear in the most common activities of everyday life, not just at the gym or playing sports. Supermarkets, malls, car shops, cafes. No matter where you are, sportswear is dominating any social class, regardless of your bank account!
It may seem like a current trend, but if we look closely at where it all began, people have been wearing sportswear for over a century! Fashion magazines and showcases call the so-called athleisure trend (which would be something like sportswear to wear more stylishly) as an emergency of recent years. But perhaps the only difference from colloquial sportswear is the luxury of sportswear worn outside the gym: training pants with heels, button-down shorts, sneakers with tailoring pants. In both men's and women's fashion, athleisure is a guaranteed success.
The popularization of sports occurred at the beginning of the last century, when sports such as tennis, cycling and swimming began to become popular. The costumes used were quite different from the ones we wear today, focusing on tight fitting, cotton garments that detracted from performance because of the weight of the fabric. Men started hitting the gym wearing trousers, shirts and vests. Obviously, the movements were hindered and over time, sports clothes emerged and gained notoriety.
Shorts, polo shirt, t-shirts, socks. Pieces from the sports wardrobe that were soon on the streets as part of the daily dress of men and women. The emergence of new sports in each decade has also brought new garments and especially new, more technological fabrics suitable for sports and better performance.
Sportswear goes through everything, and it has been proven that wearing a sports suit inside a store means nothing to do with purchasing power, quite the opposite. Sportswear is increasingly functional and less literal. Green light for your use to ensure comfort and casual style in the running routine, especially for those people who have an active sports life, after all, many of the sporting looks out there are just symbolic.
In the current context of fashion, there is almost no separation of some costumes, except, of course, venues with dress code required as appropriate, such as gala parties, swimwear, religious or so. Remembering that respecting the dress code of specific occasions is part of abiding by social norms, so let's keep it!
