Winter trends

Smart consumption has been one of the great weapons of people who want to dress well, but who don't want to spend a lot on clothes.
When you think about consuming consciously, you shouldn't necessarily have in mind to buy very little (or almost nothing), but to make smart purchases, betting on good quality pieces when we talk about classic styles and evaluating a fashion trend to be sure if you’re going to wear something just because it’s hot.
Winter is the perfect season to think about smarter trends. And some of these trends will be on the rise this winter of 2020, as they are part of the most classic styles, that is, pieces that may already be in your wardrobe habitually. In a year that we do not know how it will continue and with a powerful financial crisis coming, it is time to bet on selected pieces or use the clothes that are already in your closet, combining them in new ways!
We have separated some tips for autumn and winter, which are already in international collections and on the streets around the world. Don't be surprised if you have everything in your closet!
- Biker style: a true classic that returns to trends! The motorcycle style can already be considered a classic, and leather jackets and pants are almost mandatory on days of intense cold. The bomber jacket, which is still winter's favorite, gets a more modern leather version. High collar, utility pants and vests are also welcome!
- Intense colors: think red or pink. The hottest colors were previously banned from winter, but now they get elaborate pieces, like blazer, sweatshirt or sports jackets in monochromatic looks or combined with basic ones, like jeans. Heavy and long coats are good bets for men who enjoy a more avant-garde style.
- Grunge style: a younger way of dressing, using plaid and oversized modeling as a focus. Here the grunge style is more sophisticated, less adolescent. Flannel shirts, yes, but skinny pants and t-shirts with models more adjusted to the body.
- Knitted jackets and blouses: it may seem strange to say that the trend is a wool coat, since it is a typical winter garment. But here we are talking about handmade pieces, with a handmade and creative footprint. The return of manuality, the appreciation of handicrafts is increasingly evident and the fashion for men also gains.
- Total black: invest in total black looks! Black is a trend in 2020 and there is nothing better than being able to use your favorite black pieces at the same time, composing an elegant black look. Pants with tapered legs and knits adjusted to the body are great options, finishing off with a black coat, jacket or blazer, according to the temperature of your city.
Also note: the use of trousers inside the shoe / boot / sneakers, return the short-brimmed hats, the bucket hat (called a fisherman's hat), the preppy style (the very aristocratic and collegial-looking one) and the use of the tone pastel, with soft colors like blue and nude for cold days too.
