Colors for Winter 2021

One of the most important elements in our choice (in any area) is color. If we are choosing an outfit, an accessory or even a sofa for our home, it is the color that first impacts our choice. A personal matter, the choice of color can often have several factors combined, such as emotional sensations, such as energy and determination or chromatic sensations that make us more comfortable. Therefore, not all people visualize and relate to the same colors in the same way.
In the fashion and style consultancy, a skin color analysis is carried out to identify a personal color chart. Using colors divided between warm and cold and subdivided with the nomenclature of the seasons of the year, the color analysis is a great option for those who like to organize their looks according to their style, biotype and function. Some tests are simple, made analyzing the colors of the veins of our wrist and approaching metallic colors (gold and silver) to our face and other more complex ones, with different fabric flags and colors.
When we talk about fashion color trends, which are on the rise, we don't even stop to think if these colors will go well with our skin. But there are people who are serious about consulting and color charts, and choose according to their chromatic palette. Here today we're just going to talk about a few of the colors that are hot in winter and fall this year.
For 2021, the company Pantone, responsible for one of the most important color systems in the world and a trendsetter, chose Classic Blue as the color of the year. Blue (which would be something similar to the color of traditional jeans) has shared space with pink pink (yes for men!) and even the combination of the two colors has been a constant out there! Blue tones (such as Bic and Celeste) also appear strong. Sweatshirts and comfortable garments appear in various shades of blue.
It seems obvious, but gray is on the rise. A traditional color from cold days gained more evidence this year, in a tone-on-tone combination (ton sur ton) in sporty looks or more stylish, corporate looks, combining a blazer, wool vest, scarf or pashmina and shirt. Plaid is a great choice for shades of gray, as well as more elaborate sweatpants.
Caramel (and its range of earth tones) also appears in winter, but in the last two years, the color has gained unusual combinations, such as caramel and red, caramel and gray and triads with white and navy blue. Perfect for tight pants and blazers, the color invaded comfortable clothing with blouses and pants combined with denim or bomber jackets, with the intention of creating layers, layers.
Red is among the big bets of fashion in 2021. From accessories and imposing pieces, such as wool coats and sweaters. As it has a strong presence, red stands out in monochromatic looks or, for those who want to start small, just one red piece makes the big difference. In different shades and combined with all the other trending colors mentioned above, red should definitely be mandatory in your choices!
