For those who are lovers of fashion, it is easy to understand the oscillating waves of trends, after all, it is necessary to rescue the past and interpret, through new movements, what was once very successful. In short: trends come back remodeled and adapted to the present day.

There are those who love and those who hate. Especially when the terms vintage (original piece that lasted through time) and retro (new piece inspired by something old) are not well known. In women's fashion it's something amazing, and celebrated often returns more festive. In men's fashion, everything comes back with more caution, more behaved.

Have you ever noticed how men have worn mustaches? If we watch a movie from the 70's and 80's we can see how the mustache was something imposing, sensual and that was part of male beauty as a symbol of masculinity. Currently the mustache is used in such a literal and caricatured way that it goes through an important ritual for its construction, it's not just any mustache! Long hair remained in fashion for a while, then ended up becoming a style for those who really commit to the look. Today it is rare to see long hair among men, even more so with the artistic cuts of modern barbershops that have become the mandatory weekly point of men. Long hair requires care, such as hydration and cutting on schedule.

Baggy clothes retain a mixture of love and repulsion. Some new brands rescued oversized models and improved good pieces, with a minimalist and comfortable style. There was a time when broad shoulders and baggy pants were a huge hit. The suits were baggy, looked like they belonged to other people. But it was fashion, just like today suits are tight with short, tighter pants. Jeans had a high waist (which is also a must have today), flared out towards the knees and were tighter at the shin. Brands that have a vintage DNA bring these models to those who value style and want to differentiate themselves from the mass.

Men's bag is a necessity. You usually leave with your wallet in one pocket, a huge smartphone in the other pocket, and you leave your keys somewhere when you arrive, piling up your wallet, cell phone, and other personal items. Who works around takes his briefcase. While many invest in a fanny pack, the one famous in other times and which has resurfaced (for some it has resurfaced from the darkness), others do not even think about using something similar to a bag. Even more with a fanny pack! But if you men only knew how good it is to have a bag to carry everything...

The wide collar that shows a good part of the chest has been a staple of menswear in recent years. Also a more vintage style, the Cuban collar became a hit, combined with vertical striped shirts. I would have a long list of items that come and go in menswear. And it's okay if you revisit these trends. But it's also okay if you're one of those who don't look for them, you always want something new and modern. There are those who search in thrift stores for original vintage pieces by choice, not necessity. Fashion is democratic, it accepts everything and everyone nowadays.
