Let's agree that it is quite out of fashion to discard clothes, when the intention is waste (when we can donate it's worth it!). However, many pieces that we don't even discard, perhaps because of the quality or the brand, return to the stronger and revisited windows. It's still February, but soon the fall/winter collections start popping up around, leaving us confused by the heat and cold weather clothes that appear in the brands.
Cargo pants (I already told you about them here) are going to show up a lot in winter! Slimmer and adjusted to the body, the model maintains the side pockets and the idea of being a utilitarian pants. The waist also appears higher, but traditional models can come out of the closet and rock around. Before, cargo pants were restricted to very informal, almost recreational looks. Now they can be used with a belt and more tidy tops, for those who want to use it as a walk-in production. If you don't already have one, it's worth investing!
The bootie style social shoe is kind of forgotten in stores and remembered only on the coldest days, as it protects the ankles when worn with tighter pants. But this classic, which can be Chelsea style (with elastic band) or brogue style (with holes) is a very good option for everyday wear. Put it on your list and bet on quality brands, as it is a model that does not go out of style, a classic in men's fashion.
The black sunglasses with that 2000s look, square and thin, appeared on several labels, of all styles. Some are more minimalist, others more opulent and with letters and stones, but in this futuristic style. After a long reign of colored eyewear (they are still going strong in fashion), black basics are on trend. Those who have good quality glasses, from high-end brands, can blow off the dust and wear them around!
Coats and vests with (synthetic) sheep wool lining take the place of the sweatshirt, in this period that we hope will be post-pandemic. Many synthetic materials have appeared to replace skin and are on the rise. What was most noticeable in this period is that comfortable clothes gained formal versions and can go to work too (ditto the jogger pants with more formal fabrics and models).
The oversized blazer, that big one, purposely wider, is a trend here. And in this coming and going of fashion, it is quite possible that you have some left. So it's time to send it to the laundry and use it a lot! It's worth wearing in a more sporty way, with a sweater and t-shirt underneath, or more social, with a shirt. The oversized modeling showed its face for good at the beginning of the pandemic, seeking comfort, and it will stay for a long time!
