Basic winter parts to work with

The arrival of winter implies layers of clothes for those who are out on the cold days. And if it's time to invest or choose your pieces for the winter, the best way to have a practical and elegant outfit is to coordinate pieces. In addition to saving time when getting ready for work or leaving the house, it also guarantees an organized and beautiful look!
If we think about building layers, we go by blocks: shoes, pants, blouses and coats. An amazing option for the cold, and that many men forget, are the short bootie style shoes. The aesthetic follows the same style of the shoe, more social or casual, but with the ankle pipe a little longer. It warms the feet well and is great to be worn with shorter or more tapered pants. It's time to think about socks with more style, that appear in production with prominence. Printed and colored models, or with more classic motifs, such as polka dots and argyles, of good quality, make the look very sophisticated!
In the coldest places, jeans are not the best option, since the twill is a cold fabric and does not heat up very much. But it is also a cold blocker, as it is a resistant fabric. So for those not so chilly, thicker, dark wash jeans can be the go-to piece of clothing. It matches with work looks (watch out for ripped and very sporty pants here) and also for leisure.
Those who feel colder can think of pants made of fine wool or satin fabrics. Winter suit pants (blazer and pants set) are great options for cold days, and you don't have to wear the set. Older models of pants (good suits last a long time) can be renewed in good seamstresses and tailors, tapering the pants for a more modern touch. Traditional men's clothing stores sell wool pants in modern tailoring models that become those day-to-day work darlings. In neutral colors and prints, such as black, gray, plaid, it is a piece that can be coordinated with various productions.
In the part that we call the top (which covers blouses, shirts, coats) we have several options. In very cold places, the tip is to have a heavier coat over the production, which can be removed indoors. Long coats or 3 ⁄ 4 wool coats (the ones we call caban) keep warm very well. Black, gray or caramel are the most versatile when it comes to combining. Wool blazer is a must-have! In addition to warming up, the well-cut blazer with neutral colors and more classic prints becomes the greatest ally of winter.
Wool or cashmere sweater is another important piece, especially in the construction of the shirt, sweater and coat layer. Sweaters and cardigans gained more modern versions, with different materials and cutouts with leather, suede and other surfaces. But the traditional shawl collar cardigan will always be an important jewel in your closet.
Betting on complements is always a good tip. Pashminas and scarves can be paired with blazers and sweaters. As well as hats and caps to keep your head warm. Shawls with ties, in addition to warming the neck, take the serious role of the tie, without losing sophistication. Not all men are used to wearing something around their neck for style, only in extreme cold. However, wearing a good cashmere pashmina is so elegant that it can be worn with pants and a black turtleneck that you will be well dressed anywhere in the world!
