Modeling of clothes: an important item!
Fitted shirt, loose shirt. Tight pants, wide pants. Short sleeve, long sleeve. There is so much modeling variation that we experience in clothes that we always have to keep up to date with fashion trends to stay in the know. But the truth is that modeling can be a very important factor when getting dressed, when you are looking for your style or even when you want to look more modern.
To put it simply: the shape of clothing depends on aesthetic and social factors happening in the world. It's not just the catwalks and famous fashion designers who set the trends that will be paraded in the collections every year. Street culture, historical facts, social media trends, politics, football and much more all influence what's hot. And the silhouette of the outfit, that is, its shape, accompanies these novelties.
Men's clothing used to be baggy, not just in the oversized grunge style that emerged in the 1990s, but even suits, jackets, shirts and jeans had wide, straight fit. With the culture of health and the fit body, clothes begin to adjust and give more evidence to the male body, outside the gyms. Everyday clothes are no longer so rigid and gain a sporty and comfortable feel.
The suit (which is a set of blazer and pants made from the same fabric) gained a more modern model, with more tapered and tight pants, smaller shoulders and a slimmer, longer body. T-shirts were also tighter and longer, continuing the leaner style of clothing. Dress shirts, which were previously bought in larger sizes, began to fit exact men's sizes.
After this restructuring of men's modeling, fashion oscillates trends, sometimes bringing larger pieces, sometimes more fitted. Currently, oversized is on the rise, with wider T-shirts (not too long), wider shorts (not so long) and bold accessories (those that are more eye-catching, including sneakers, caps, socks, glasses). We will hardly go back to that wide aesthetic with broad shoulders and pants left over the hem. The trend always returns with adjustments, mainly thinking about everyday life, so that everyone can assimilate without damage.
In times when men can wear tight or loose pants, open or closed shirts, common sense prevails over trends. Adapting to your style requires choosing pieces that you will feel comfortable and according to what you need to wear on each occasion. Because there is a tendency for wide and tight modeling and everything will depend on what you want to communicate to the world about your style of dress!
