Men's fashion this summer

Who said that heat is the main problem when it comes to dressing well? Maybe the choices made don't help much and that's why today we're going to talk about it? After all, we live in a tropical country with cities that reach over 40 degrees in the summer.

Going out to work in an elaborate outfit, to the office and meetings, is not pleasant at all. Although air conditioning is mandatory when it comes to staying well-groomed during the day, choosing the right pieces is also very important.

Firstly we need to talk about fabrics, as they will be in direct contact with the skin. Sweat-blocking fabrics can be chaotic in the summer! Fabrics like nylon and polyester, which are synthetic and if they don't have special treatment to offer thermal comfort and breathability for the skin, can be uncomfortable on intensely hot days. So if you are not in the habit of looking at the internal composition label of clothes, ask the salesperson for help in the store. Choose natural fabrics, such as cotton, linen, hemp or so-called artificial fabrics, such as viscose, rayon and lyocell, which mix natural and synthetic fibers, but guarantee more comfort and breathability.

And contrary to what most people think, the fabric influences and the modeling even more! Loose clothing is much better for hot weather. More fitted pieces, due to direct contact with the skin, make us sweat more. Light natural fabrics and wider shapes in shorts, tailored pants, short-sleeved shirts and other more elaborate pieces can help in the heat! And we're not talking about huge, disfigured clothes, but rather a more modern, minimalist style that isn't glued to the body.

For a good balance, it's worth opting for higher-waisted, wider pants with a good quality tank top. Shorter tailored shorts with an open short-sleeved shirt and a basic tank underneath, wider cargo shorts with a light, loose-fitting cotton shirt. Without much mystery, but with comfort and without heavy fabrics and tight pieces. Attention is necessary when choosing and using tank tops: if you are going to the gym, several models and cuts are available. But to go out, the regatta needs to be a complement, not the main piece, even if well finished.

For those who need to wear a suit (pants and blazer set) to work, the tip is to choose mixed fabrics and lighter colors. Plain, basic t-shirts made with premium cotton and neutral colors are good options to wear under a blazer. Pay attention to accessories (such as belts and watches) and moccasin-style shoes with half flats (those that don't show outside the shoe). The box model shirt, wider and shorter, with short sleeves is a good alternative for less formal looks in work environments that do not require such formal clothing. As well as light, tear-free shorts and jeans.

The bet then is on lighter and more natural fabrics, wide shapes and light colors. If you are going to invest in modern pieces, wider and shorter t-shirts, tailored shorts and wide pajama-style pants are on the rise and can be very versatile on hotter days.
